Has anyone purchased a map update for their built in VW navigation system? I've read the referenced thread and cannot seem to get my RNS-510 to open the secret menu, no matter how long I press and hold the "Setup" button. I attempted to find my Map and FW version numbers in the garage last night.
I got a bunch of update notices so I went ahead and did them. I updated and installed to what I am assuming is the latest AP Manager version 220.127.116.11 .
After I booted that up on my computer with my AP connected I clicked the update button and started updating to the newest firmware.

I figured someday maybe I'd get the updates, but for 0 I was going to keep waiting. A possible solution could be for a 10 or more members who live near each other get together, chip in each and purchase one map update and share the disk.
I've heard that internal sound cards have been replaced by better usb sound cards. Victor The answer depends on just what you are doing with Sonar. If you are recording multitrack music you are going to be less than pleased with the performance of any internal sound card. You really want an audio interface that is external to your computer that provides direct monitoring from the interface. That would be cheaper than purchasing another unit with free lifetime updates.I did not see a legal disclaimer stating sharing would be illegal use of the update software.
